Applications
The airbricks can be used internally or externally in the construction of housing and commercial projects.

Materials
Airbricks and their associated cavity liners are made of terracotta formed from specially selected clays for long-term in-use stability and durability.
Specifications
The airbricks comply with BS 493: 1995 "Specification for airbricks and gratings for wall ventilation".
Regulations
Hepworth Terracotta airbricks, when used appropriately, meet the requirements of The Building Regulations 2000:
  • Approved Document C: Site preparation and resistance to moisture (ground floor air space ventilation).
  • Approved Document F: Ventilation (natural ventilation of internal spaces, and reducing condensation in roof voids).
  • Approved Document J: Combustion appliances and fuel storage systems (combustion air supply).
